Having heard of Frankfurt as a major town in Hesse, I decided to jot it down as my next travel destination. Being Germany’s prime banking, transport and educational center, Frankfurt always teems with people. With its skyscraper skyline, Frankfurt has ample tourist sites to visit.



Flights to Frankfurt:

Frankfurt, being a major connecting hub in Germany has nearly 15,600 international flights and 4400 domestic flights operating every week out of its international airport. With 290 non-stop flights to major cities operated by as many as 125 airlines, Frankfurt is easily accessible by air.

9. Sachsenhausen-The drink den of Frankfurt, Sachsenhausen hists many bars, ciderhouses and breweries for the famous “apfelwein” or apple-wine.

10. Goetheturm - Stand atop the Goethe tower to have a breathtakingview of Frankfurt’s futuristic skyline.

Frankfurt au Maimi is widely acclaimed for hosting the world’s largest fairs- the MusikMesse- the Music Fair, the Buch Messe-the Book Fair and the International Automobil Ausstellung- the International Motor show.

I enjoyed my meals at the Surf –n- Turf SteakHouse, which is famous for superbly-grilled steaks. You can savor original German cuisine at Leib & Seele and Chinese fare at the Jade.
