Are you the type of person who has been worrying about discolorations in your body? You may notice that your buttocks are somehow dark and it really bothers you when you wear skimpy outfits such as bathing suits. You can get rid of such horrible “brown eye” down under through anal bleaching, one of the latest trends in cosmetic treatments.

If you think that cosmetic procedures such as anal bleaching have gotten out of hand, you should be considering the fact that there is no other time in history has mankind had more control of their body than they do these days. Wouldn’t it be nice to have such procedure that can make you feel clean and more confident? Such procedure isn’t only for models, as they are not the only ones who badly need it. Anal bleaching can be as effective and safe as the other cosmetic treatments you had only if you follow these dos and don’ts.

Do identify the cause of discoloration first. Before you have the procedure, make sure that the discoloration is not caused by any medical condition. Contact dermatitis and syphilis can cause skin discolorations. Consult your dermatologist and allow him or her to take a look at the skin before requesting for bleaching procedure. If you are a candidate, your dermatologist will recommend it to you anyway.

Don’t use products containing hydroquinone. The next thing you need to consider is the ingredient to be used during the anal bleaching procedure. See if the creams or bleaching gel contain hydroquinone, one of the ingredients commonly used in making anal creams. Products that contain hydroquinone are believed to be linked with negative side effects such as liver damage and thyroid problems. Ask your doctor if the procedure uses natural ingredients or mild chemicals at least.

Do follow your doctor’s prescription and instruction before and after the procedure. As simple and quick as it seems, anal bleaching procedure requires preparation and after care. Some dermatologists recommend that the area should be clean and dry prior to the procedure. After the procedure, your doctor may also recommend using aftercare products for maintenance. Use only the products recommended by your doctor. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience irritation or other unwanted side effects.

Don’t settle for the cheapest anal bleaching procedure. Because anal bleaching is rising in popularity, expect that a lot of skin care businesses are now offering such procedure. The cost of the procedure is what usually attracts most people. When you're going for this procedure, make sure that you don't compromise quality with price.
